After
completing both exercise and assessment process, I again found that the
universal Loving Kindness exercise produced the same results. I am finding that
I am able to relax whenever I begin this exercise. I am finding that I am able
to project loving kindness towards those who I would otherwise not be able to.
I believe I am slowly working towards becoming a healthier person in all areas
especially my mental health. Due to the recent events of my life, I had thought
I never feel whole and complete again.
The
Integral Assessment process showed me that the biggest area that needs to be
focused on is the psychospiritual part of my life. I want to feel whole and
complete and this is an area where I need a lot of work on. My mental condition
has not been where I would like to be at. The specific exercises that could
assist me in this area would include meditation and relaxation techniques.
I
am at a point in my life where any suggestions towards achieving a healthier
psychosocial part of my
life would be greatly helpful. The other areas of my life have mostly been in
good shape. I have always been dealing with stress to an excessive level and
thought I was handling it well, but after learning from this class, I am
finding that I haven’t been handling stress as well as I thought.
